This Fine Silver Blank is already basecoated for you and ready for your next project!

Made of 26 gauge fine silver and slightly domed, the surface is prepared with a light texture (Roll printed paper) and flashed to provide optimum brilliance. The front has an ultra thin layer of G110 Nihon Shippo flux for silver and the back is heavy counterenamel using 40% Soyer Flux and 60% transparent blue. Color of counter enamel will vary from one blank to the next.

The basecoat flux is super thin to prevent enamel from sloping up the cloisonne wires when firing in. When using silver sensitive colors, a buffer layer is recommended.
