Tuff Brake Film
Tuff Brake Film
Tuff Brake is here!
This is a little trick I learned from Patsy Croft a few years ago. This is a film of very hardy rubbery material that you can cut to size and use in your bezel settings to eliminate that tinny sound of a bezel set cabochon. Traditionally, saw dust or chamois has been used for this purpose but tuff brake will not disintegrate over time as these other methods do. It is available in two thicknesses - .015" and .030"
4” x 12” .015” - $5
4” x 12” .030” - $7
One 4” x 12” of each thickness - $11
Tuff Brake film is specifically designed to eliminate press brake witness marks when used for bending stainless steel, aluminum, sheet metal and pre painted metals. As enamelists we are experts at adapting tools to meet our needs!
